Just south of Cape Canaveral along the Space Coast is Cocoa Beach. Cocoa Beach is home to arguably the best surfing on the East Coast. Surfers come from all over the country to play in the waves offshore here. You can sit and watch these athletes maneuver in the water from the Cocoa Beach Pier. The pier was built in the 1960’s and has 842 feet of shopping, fishing, dining and of course surfing rentals and lessons.
