Melbourne Beach is located on the barrier islands that separate the Indian River and Melbourne, Florida from the Atlantic Ocean. This island is the southern tip of Florida’s Space Coast and is just 25 miles away from the Kennedy Space Center where you can explore the history of the U.S. Space Program. Being between a river and an ocean provides this small community with plenty of beachfront to play on as well as several great fishing spots. Melbourne Beach is the perfect location to spend a relaxing time on the Atlantic Ocean in Florida. Melbourne hosts the nearest airport, Melbourne International Airport (MLB, 3miles), but you find better flight selection flying into a larger airport such as Orlando International Airport (MCO, 55miles).
