Palm Beach, part of Florida’s Gold Coast, is located 40 miles north of Fort Lauderdale across Lake Worth from West Palm Beach. Despite being known as a winter getaway for some of the richest families and people in the world, Palm Beach is a wonderful place to vacation. In addition, Palm Beach is home to many museums and attractions such as the Flagler Museum (a stunning Gilded Age mansion built in 1902), the Norton Museum of Art and the Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park. From luxurious day spas to water parks, Palm Beach and West Palm Beach provide the perfect vacation spot on Florida’s Gold Coast. Palm Beach International Airport (PBI, 5miles) is located just south of West Palm Beach. Other airports in the area include Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL, 50miles) and Miami International Airport (MIA, 70miles).
