Citrus Springs is an environmentally conscious community surrounded by thousands of preserved acres set aside because of its crystal clear springs, beautiful vegetation, large lakes, and rivers. Citrus Springs is about 70 miles north of Tampa and is truly a quiet gem in the Florida inland. Some of the best fishing in the country can be found here in Citrus County. There are also championship golf courses just waiting for you to explore every inch of well-cut fairways and greens. Take a bike tour along a 50 mile long paved trail, or take a day trip to Disney World or Tampa. Citrus Springs is close enough to the large Florida destinations to be able to enjoy them and far enough away to be able to enjoy not being in the crowds.
