This is a great place in a great location to plan a family or personal vacation without breaking the bank!

Pelican Pointe Pelican Pointe resort is a well maintained newly renovated property in the prime location of Clearwater beach Florida. The unit features; a queen size bed, sofa bed, and a kitchenette consisting of microwave, coffee maker, sink, and a beverage refrigerator. Other features include cable TV, telephone service, and public wireless internet. The unit is located on the second floor with balcony sitting area and view of property swimming pool. Free ample parking, 24 hour lobby staff is available with daily cleaning and linen service. Property also has a handicap accessible elevator and a shared laundry room for its tenants. A newly added banquet room is available for weddings or other reunions.

Local Information

Clearwater Beach can be found at the northern end of a 28 mile island barrier that skirts the Pinellas Peninsula. This beach, also known as Pier 60, hosts about 1 million tourists per year. Why do so many vacationers come to this area? Because Clearwater Beach provides you with access to the Gulf of Mexico, some of the best city beaches in Florida, and it is close to some of Florida’s biggest attractions. The silky white sands of this beach and the amenities that surround it cater to your needs. From volleyball to fishing equipment, everything you need is within reach at the beach. After enjoying people watching and water sports get out on your own and visit some of the beautiful state parks just north of Clearwater Beach. Caladesi Island State Park is a great place to walk along unspoiled beaches, watch dolphins or walk on park nature trails. Another great park to visit is the Fort Desoto Park at the southern end of the island barrier. This park boasts sugar white sands, pier fishing, over 4 miles of trails, and even a historical museum offering information about Fort Desoto and the surrounding area. Once you are done exploring the peninsula, it is just a short drive to the Tampa Bay area where you will find everything from Busch Gardens to the Florida Aquarium. With so much to do you will want to come back to Clearwater Beach again and again. Tampa houses the closest major airport, Tampa International Airport (TPA). From Clearwater Beach it is just 24 miles away.
