Key Colony Beach is a small island just East of Marathon in the Florida Keys. Known for beautiful sunsets and ocean breezes, you will find many walking and jogging courses throughout the city and along the Sadowski Causeway. There is also a city owned 9-hole golf course and tennis courts for your enjoyment. If you are looking to get out and enjoy the area a bit more, then head to Marathon where you will find fishing charters, snorkeling and diving rentals, canoeing, kayaking, jet skiing, and sailing. Marathon also has wonderful shops and fine dining available. Looking to explore and learn about the marine life here in the keys? Then head to the Dolphin Research Center, just east of Key Colony Beach, where you can pay to swim with friendly dolphins. Regardless of what you choose to do during your vacation in the Florida Keys, Key Colony Beach is in a great location to make it the best vacation you have had yet. The Florida Keys Marathon Airport (MTH, 1mile) is the closest airport, though Key West International Airport (EYW, 50miles) and Miami International Airport (MIA, 80miles) are options as well.
