| BeachWaves is a great beach house for your family gathering. This five bedroom home has 3200 square foot of indoor space plus a garage/game room and another 3000 square feet of open and covered decks!
The house is located in a gated community located on the part of Santa Rosa Island that is known as Pensacola Beach. We are a small neighborhood that has a private pool, community fishing pier and is nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and Santa Rosa Sound - both a short walk South or North.
The island bike path is just outside the neighborhood entrance and runs the entire span of the Island - all the way East to Navarre Beach or West to Ft. Pickens. Adult and children's bikes are provided - please bring your own helmets. We also provide beach chairs and umbrellas and various beach toys. Feel free to use ours and/or donate yours to the collection when you leave.
This house is very elegantly designed and decorated for family living. The house is light and airy and well equipped for multi-families living together on vacation. The house has three levels which allows your group to spread out. The main living area of the house is on the third level with impressive views of the Gulf and the Sound and the sunset all year round. With five bedrooms this house provides ample sleeping for up to sixteen people where everyone gets a bed - no futons or sleeper sofas! There are two king bedrooms on the third level. The second level has a master suite with a queen plus two twins, two bunk rooms (each sleeping 4) and three bathrooms.
A large kitchen designed for groups has two ovens, two refrigerators, two dishwashers and seating for 16. There are even two laundry rooms in the house. Wrap around decks with glass railings provide 360 degree unobstructed views up and down our lovely island. Lounge chairs and dining tables give your group a relaxing setting for outside dining and sunbathing.
The house overlooks the community pool and is close a community fishing pier shared by the neighborhood. Other amenities include ping pong and foosball tables in the garage, an outdoor hot tub, bicycles, outdoor grill, free wireless internet (bring your own laptop), and flat screen TV's in every room. We provide lots of books, movies and games so that you can enjoy your time inside after a full day on the beach.
Boats and jet skis are welcome but they must be kept on trailers in the garage or tied to our mooring ball during your stay. (No parking boats, RV's or trailers in driveways or on street). This is a family neighborhood - so no house parties or large events are permitted. Small weddings are permitted for an extra fee.
Our neighborhood is located next to Portofino towers. From our pier you can walk East along the sound past Portofino for miles and miles on an empty beach where you can find crabs and all kinds of wildlife.
Things to Do on the Island
Pensacola Beach is a great place for groups of all ages. We chose this island to live because it is a real community and a tourist destination. We have our own elementary school, two full-time churches, a small grocery store and boutique shopping. There are free outdoor concerts on Tuesday nights in the summer, great bands at the local bars all year long, and a range of restaurants from burgers to fine dining. Not to mention the outdoor things you come here for - surfing, swimming, fishing, bike riding, and walking on the beach. Several charter fishing boats leave out of Pensacola Beach. The beaches are open for anyone to walk - throughout the entire island. We don't have any private beaches or walls of condos that stretch from the road to the beach. And if you feel you need outlet shopping, SilverSands Outlet Mall is 55 minutes via the newly opened beach road. Downtown Pensacola has become the "hip" place to hang out with fine dining, art galleries, museums and great night spots.
