| Our charming three bedroom cottage is located in Destin's Crystal Beach community.
This cozy cottage is one and one-half blocks from the pristine Emerald Coast beach. With 20-foot high vaulted ceilings and a retractable wall of glass overlooking your own private pool, our home allows the outside to become part of your everyday living environment. Every room contains a ceiling fan and the pool is surrounded by a 6-foot privacy fence.
The Great Escape is a wonderful retreat for families and couples. The contemporary decor and open floor plan allow you to relax in the comfort of our home. The location is convenient to the Fort Walton Airport, Big Kahuna Water Theme Park, and various other local attractions.
Start your day with shopping or golf, hit the beach or sit by the pool, you can complete your day with a fabulous meal. Whether you are in the mood to dress up and go out, or grill out by the pool, it is your choice. Our home is centrally located to a wide-range of activities for all ages.

Resting on a peninsula with the beautiful Choctawwhatchee Bay on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other, is the charming community of Destin. Proclaimed as the “World’s Luckiest Fishing Village,” Destin is a fisherman’s dream destination. The town boasts the largest charter boat fleet in the state comprised of more than 140 vessels. Amidst the quickly developing area is Henderson Beach State Park just east of Destin Harbor on U.S. 98. This park has one and a half miles of beach complete with restrooms, showers, picnic facilities, and even allows pets (keep your pet on a leash at all times). There are also restaurants just outside the park’s western boundaries. Other activities available in the area include golfing, sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling and assorted water sports such as Wave Runners, jet boats, and parasailing. For a unique shopping experience, try the Silver Sands Factory Stores on U.S. 98 just between Destin and Sandestin. Shops here include Liz Claiborne, J. Crew, Bose electrics and many more. After a full day on the beach unwind at one of Destin’s exceptional seafood restaurants. Enjoy your vacation on Florida’s Emerald Coast. Hurlburt Field (HRT, 10miles) is the closest airport to Destin in nearby Mary Esther. The Bob Sikes Airport (CEW, 25miles) and the Pensacola Regional Airport (PNS, 60miles) are other options for those who want to fly in close to Destin.
