Number one is the location. You can access the river from two
different locations in less than 15 minutes. From there you are only
15-20 minutes from the Gulf. Some homes are so far in that it could
take 45 minutes or more to get out of the canals. Our home has a huge
2,000 square lanai/pool area. The pool is oversized and has a little
bar table in it. The lanai has a built in Jenn-Air grill, stereo
system, shower, two bedroom access and bathroom access. The master
bathroom has a large walk-in shower Jacuzzi tub and is separate from
the other bedrooms. We have a large screen TV in the family room and
cable TV in all three bedrooms. VCR and DVD. Our house includes
everything you would expect in a house. Some of the items included
are a kitchen stocked full of dishes, cups, silverware, pot and pans.
There is a coffee maker, blender and microwave. Bedrooms are equipped
with linens, TV's, dresser, alarm clocks. We provide bath towels.
There is a washer and dryer for your use.

Finding things to do in Cape Coral in not hard to do. There is a
water park that is not far away. There is a ecological preserve.
There is a community yacht club that is open to the public. It offers
tennis, fishing pier, beach, etc. Golf is very popular due to the
number and variety of courses that are near.
Of course beaches are plentiful. There is a beach in cape coral.
The Famous Fort Myers Beach is only 20 minutes away. You can go to
Sanibel Island and explore their beaches. If you are really
adventurous you can continue on to Captiva Island.
Boating is one of the most popular pastimes on the Lee Island Coast.
You can rent a boat and explore yourself or hire a guide to give you
a tour. Remember we have a dock.
February and March bring spring training baseball from the Red Sox
and Twins.

Along the northern shore of the Caloosahatchee River and just southwest of Fort Myers, Florida, lies Cape Coral. Cape Coral is an inland community with quick access available to many beaches and islands lining the Gulf of Mexico. Sanibel, Captiva, and Pine islands are all within 10 miles of the Cape. Unique backwaters of the Caloosahatchee River and the salt water from the Gulf intertwine providing the area with many different kinds of wildlife. Shelling is probably one of the most popular activities in the area. With J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife refuge within 3 miles of the cape, exploration and adventure are just minutes away. If you want to get off of the land rent a canoe or kayak for the day and enjoy paddling your way along the slow moving rivers and around the Pine Island Sound. Fort Myers Beach, just south of Cape Coral, is home to great shopping and dining. Everything is within reach here at Cape Coral, from Everglades National Park to historical museums. Six miles away, Fort Myers houses the nearest airport, Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW).
