The Sea Air offers you a private island getaway right on the beach! This delightful home is ideal for families and friends seeking fun and relaxation in a tropical setting.

Six bedrooms and 3 baths can accomodate up to 17 people. View the ocean from the screened and unscreened decks, explore the island by bicycle or golf cart (provided), enjoy Club House privileges (pools, tennis courts and exercise gym), lounge by the pristine waters, or go snorkeling or kayaking (also provided).

Free boat dock and air strip rights, excellent restaurants, and air boat and fishing trips are available.

All the amenities and comforts of your own home, and then some: Fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, satellite TV (40" flat screen), VCR, DVD, new stereo w/ipod dock, CD player, piano, gas & charcoal grills, washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. Beach, bath and kitchen towels and linens, chaise loungers and umbrellas. In Spring 2010 we installed brand new leather furniture and 4 king-sized mattresses. No detail has been overlooked! Read what our guests had to say....' We spent five beautiful nights at the Sea Air house on North Captiva Island and can't say enough about it. The house is very clean and large - we slept 14 people quite comfortably. The views of the ocean from the main floor are gorgeous and the location cannot be beaten. Local Information

Captiva Island, sister to Sanibel Island, is located about 10 miles west of Fort Myers along the Gulf of Mexico. These islands are full of natural beauty. Here you will not find amusement parks, high-rise condominiums or much of the clutter of commercial tourism. These islands have been preserved and protected by the local citizens. Over half of the area encompassed by the two islands has been marked as the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge. This refuge provides wonderful hiking and biking trails and also kayaking and canoeing. Alligators, otters and many species of birds call this refuge home. Be sure to stop in at the Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum during your visit and then take to the beaches in search of your own shell collection. There are many beaches in the area with public access and amenities. Once you are done exploring the islands be sure to get out on the water. Whether you prefer to take a leisurely cruise or go deep sea fishing, the islands will provide you with everything you need. After the sun goes down a short trip to the Fort Myers area will provide you with all the night entertainment, shopping and dining you could want. Captiva Island is just waiting for you to come and explore its natural beauty. Fort Myers houses the nearest airport, Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW, 14miles).
