Vacation Rental Description

This is a beautiful first floor unit with a social membership. The social membership provides for use of the the many amenities at Colonial Country Club, and discounted golf rates on the first class 18-hole Troon Golf Couse.

The unit has everything you want during your stay! It is a Carriage Home, located in an 8-unit building. Its spacious 1600 square feet is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and has a fully stocked kitchen, laundry, and grill. You will enjoy the two bedroom + den with daybed, two baths, and screened lanai. The lake, directly outside of the lanai, master bedroom, and kitchen creates a soothing ambiance within the unit. Each community within Colonial enjoys their own pool, spa, and grills so you don’t need to drive to enjoy the Florida sunshine!

This condo has been decorated for comfort. The master bedroom has an iron queen bed, cherry nightstands, armoire, and private bath with walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed, white dresser, and nightstand. The den contains an iron daybed with trundle. All three rooms have TVs and full window treatments. The living room has two comfy chairs, couch, two end tables, bookcase, radio/CD and TV armoire. The kitchen has all that you want: seating for 4-6, and fully equipped with dishes and pans, microwave, dishwasher, and ice maker. You’ll also find all new appliances, including washer and dryer, and a one-car garage with opener. Linens included. A full inventory is available at your request!

Your best Florida experience is waiting for you at beautiful Colonial Country Club! This spacious Pulte community contains nearly 800 beautiful, gated acres. Walk the 3-mile Preserve trail, golf the 18-hole Troon course, play tennis, take a fitness class, or simply relax at one of the pools. Twins training camp, beaches, and outlet shopping are within easy drive, and a new "Sweet Bay" grocery market is just outside the community gate.

Colonial offers an 11,500 square foot community center with a fitness center has the latest equipment, 10 lighted tennis courts, heated community pool, spas, and grills. It also has a clubhouse with both formal and informal dining. Colonial Country Club is conveniently located a few miles east of I-75, and only 8 miles from the new Southwest Florida International Airport.

Local Information

Along Florida’s southwest coast and situated on the Caloosahatchee River is Fort Myers. As the hub of southwest Florida, Fort Myers is in a great location to see all the sites in the area such as the Everglades National Park, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Naples and the Fort Myers Beach. Let’s begin with the beaches in the area. Fort Myers Beach stretches the length of Estero Islands just a couple miles south of the city. Though not all areas are public, you will find the drive along Estero Drive from Times Square to Lover’s Key State Park beautiful and enjoying. Also consider a day or two on the sister islands of Captiva and Sanibel, just west of Fort Myer’s. Here on the islands are some of the best beaches to go shell collecting and nature watching. Enjoy walking, biking, kayaking and canoeing in J. N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge’s 6,000 acres on Sanibel Island. Of course you don’t have to go outside Fort Myers to enjoy your vacation. Canoeing and kayaking are popular activities along the area’s many rivers where you will be able to see many species of birds and even a few manatees. You can also visit the Edison and Ford Winter Estates where Thomas Edison and Henry Ford called home in the early 1900’s. Fort Myers Historical Museum and the Imaginarium provide hours of entertainment if the weather turns poor. The Fort Myers area is also host to spring training camps for Major League Baseball teams the Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox and Texas Rangers. The world’s best tarpon fishing brought Theodore Roosevelt to the area and other sports activities such as golf and tennis are readily available in Fort Myers. Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) is just on the outskirts of Fort Myers.
